According to the National Bank of Cambodia, the number of foreign tourists for 2020 will keep growing, hitting 7 million by 2020, increasing from the estimated 6.7 million from the year before. Spite the growth of foreign tourists, the number of people visiting Siem Reap province, home of Angkor archeological park, decreased. The same happened in Phnom Penh, with more people going to the coastal areas. The Tourism Ministry has set the goal to attract at least 11 million foreign tourists by 2030.
