A rally protesting the New Russian draft law called "Russian Agents" which aims to recognize foreign organizations or media as Agents and restrictions may apply. The massive protests which began on March 6 turned into violent demonstrations against the policy of "Russian law ", as the government decided to use water cannons, tear gas, and choke damps to scatter peaceful demonstrators.
